And after all these years, the bus drivers still know my name. It's weird being on a campus where none of the students know who you are (but many ask you about their siblings.)
I wonder if the police officers and maintenance workers will know my name if I come back here in four years.
I want to appeal a parking citation on the basis that when I parked my car, I believed it to be a service vehicle, as HVAC units were bursting and I needed to get business done and fix the problem.
Okay, so maybe I was overreacting to snow. It's not that bad. And by that, I mean, rain is equally, if not more, annoying. Also, either my power steering is on the frizz, or I came very close to waterlogging the dear green dragon. And by that I mean, the power steering went out and the alternator/battery malfunction light came on as I was taking a turn. So I guess the limit for how deep I can go is water 3" above the curb (I don't know how tall the curb was; also, I didin't have all that many options for handling the situation). But the power steering thing is happening on pretty much any puddle that's >3" deep. Once the car dries, the problem goes away, but it's kinda' a pain. Also, I think it might have to do with the fact that Atlanta and Drainage don't exactly go hand in hand; maybe if I weren't constantly in some form of puddle the deeper ones wouldn't matter as much.
